How to find fossils faster

i saw someone mentioned that they seemed to found fossils in deep ocean but i can't seem to find any there, does anybody know how or why is that? does it appear only in caves in D.O. or is it just rare?

Hey, you can find fossils at the ocean floor, you might need some luck though but from personal experience they're reasonably common.
