Zodiac Rayquaza

So I was fortunate enough to get the Zodiac Rayquaza pull from a Zodiac Egg. Relieved it fine and everything but there is one issue. It was given in a normal pokeball, and apparently that prevents it from mega evolving.

Is there any way to get the pokeball changed? Legends can't be edited in poke builder so I'm kinda stuck with a Ray thats less effective atm.

There are pokeball modifiers, that may be able to help.

Update: So I bought a modifier, changed the ball, and still nothing.

Was I misinformed when I was told that it can Mega Evolve? I have the bracelet equipped and it knows Dragon Ascent.

I'm really not sure on that one I can try to find out but if you put a ticket in #help-and-support on discord I can try to ping a staff that might know more about that
