Hey there, this unfortunately is a bug that isn't exclusive to only starters. If relogging and leveling up the pokemon doesn't work, you can open a ticket in the discord server where a staff member can help you out :)

A good idea would be to send the screenshot to staff members via a ticket in the discord so they can handle it appropriately. Calling other people offensive names like that is definitely not allowed

Alt accounts are allowed as long as they are not abused (Giving free items to a main account for example)

On coloured servers you can purchase one from the store, that is the only other alternative unfortunately
