Clans are a server feature which allows groups of people and friends to team up together for competitive play, complete tasks to level up, and earn points individually to contribute towards monthly leaderboards! This guide will cover how to create, join, and interact with clans, as well as explaining how they work!

Join or Create a Clan
Getting started with joining or creating a clan is as simple as using the /clans command. This will open a menu to either create a clan or view existing invites from other clans. When creating a clan, typing cancel when prompted to create a clan will stop the clan creation. This clan menu shown will only appear if you are not in a clan.

Note: You can only be in one clan at a time!

Clans Menu Guide
Once you have joined a clan, the clan menu can be accessed at any time using the /clans command. The clan menu allows you to see clan info, management, events, and other features such as teleporting to the clan base.

The features of the clan menu are as follows:
  • Hovering over the Pokeball will show basic information about the clan including the clan name, owner, your rank, when you joined, and all other clan member’s names.
  • The Bed will teleport you to the clan base when clicked if it has one. If it does not you will be notified in chat.
  • The Trident will display information related to Clan Wars when hovered over, and take you to the Clan War menu when clicked on. See Clan War Guide for more info on this feature.
  • The Badge Case will show information about how many Clan Gyms your clan controls when hovered over. Clicking on it will open the /clan gyms menu.
  • The Player Head takes you to the Clan Members page, where you can view members of the clan. Here Clan Administrators or those given permission can invite and manage players by changing roles, setting titles, and kicking players from the clan.
  • The Book opens the Clan Milestones menu which shows the collective clan’s progress on tasks and milestones and the levels at which they are at.
  • The Coin Stack opens the Clan Bank which allows clan members with permission to deposit and withdraw coins, tokens, and gems from the clan bank. Hovering over it in the clan menu shows the current balance. Requires Clan Level 20.
  • Hovering over the Exp Bottle shows the current Clan Level. Left-clicking on this will open a menu showing the clan requirements for leveling up and the progress towards this. Right-clicking will show the clan level leaderboard to compare with other clans.
  • The Map will open a menu showing Clan Lineups. This allows clan members to view the current members eligible to participate in Clan Wars and Clan Gyms. Clan Administrators and members with permission will have access to edit, create new/remove, and swap lineups.
  • The Anvil shows a list of Clan Upgrades which are perks and increased rates for your clan such as Clan Members, bank, increased perks and spawn rates and much more. These will sometimes cost coins and will have level requirements.
  • The Fossil Machine takes you to the Clan Settings menu where Clan Administrators, or those given access, can manage various aspects of the clan. Shown in Clan Management.
  • The Barrier will show clan permissions. This will allow Clan Administrators or those with permission to edit clan permissions for each clan role.
  • The Emerald will toggle Clan Chat on and off (this may also be done with the /clan chat command), allowing you to speak to your clan instead of global chat.
  • The Eye of Ender will show the current /clan top standings, which show points that are accumulated through Clan Gyms and Clan Wars.
  • The Door allows you to leave the clan, or disband it if you are the leader.

Clans Management
There are three menus which allow Clan Administrators or those with permission to manage the clan. All of these can be accessed via the /clans command after clan creation:

Clans Settings
Clan Settings (accessed through the Fossil Machine in /clans) allows you to do a few things:
  • The first is renaming the clan, which when clicked you will be prompted to type in the new name.
  • The second is you can also set the Clan Base through this menu by assigning it to one of your claims using /claim (refer to the Claiming Guide for more information about how to make a claim). Once set, the Bed from /clans will be clickable and a new menu will open allowing you to manage Clan Rank to Claim Rank relations and set to which Claim Home clan members are directed. Each Clan Rank can be bound to a different Claim Rank individually. For example, Clan Recruits can be made Claim Visitors or even Claim Admins.
  • Lastly, you can toggle whether the clan is ready to participate in Clan Wars. Please note you can only participate in clan wars if your clan has a full 8 members in a lineup.
  • You can also delete the clan here if you are the clan owner.

Clan Members
Clan Members (accessed by clicking the Player Head in /clans) is a simple menu.

The main interface displays all members of the clan. By hovering over each member you can view their name, rank, and title. Clan Administrators may also click on the member’s head to manage them directly.

This menu also allows any clan members of a high enough rank to invite other members to the clan by typing their IGN in chat. The barrier button at the bottom toggles the view between Clan Members and Banned users from the clan.

When clicking on a clan member you will see the following:

1716542949791.png

From this menu, the member can be Promoted or Demoted, Kicked from the clan, or given a Title within the clan. When giving a title, you will be prompted in chat to type the custom title.

Clan Member Permissions
This menu allows you to assign and view different permissions to each role in your clan. It shows a list of all permissions and an option to toggle which role you would like to edit.

1716574624111.png

Clicking the Aluminum Bar at the bottom of this menu will open a new menu which allows you to pick roles Recruit, Officer, Chief, or Admin. Once you have selected a role to edit, you can toggle whether that role has access to something by clicking one of the permissions shown in the main permissions menu.

Hover over any of the items to confirm if they have permission. Permissions in this menu include: Kicking/ Inviting/ Promoting/ Demoting Clan Members as well as adding them to Lineups and controlling if they can deposit or withdraw from the Bank and more!

Clan Wars
Clan Wars is one of the major competitive-based activities a clan can participate in. They can be accessed using /clan wars or clicking the Trident in /clans. Wars are a weekly competitive random matchup between 8 players from 2 different clans with the winner receiving points towards Clan Leaderboards, as well as various other perks!

Clan War Rules
War Rules change every month, but can always be reviewed with /clan war rules:
  • A minimum of 6 Pokemon must be used by both Offense and Defense
  • Only 3 Legendary/ Ultra Beasts/ Paradox Pokemon per team, applies to both Offense and Defense
  • At least 3 out of 6 Pokemon in your party should be the same typing as the Clan Gym you are attempting to claim.
  • Offense and Defense each have a list of banned Pokemon, which can be viewed with the /clan war bans offense, and /clan war bans defense
  • Clan members will battle a computer-controlled version of one Defense team on the opposing clan
To be eligible to participate in a war, a clan must have at least 8 members. Once your clan is ready to participate, the clan leader may select the Ready for War option found in the Clan Settings, within the /clan menu and then click Clan Settings (Fossil Machine).

A Clan War consists of each clan battling the other’s Defensive teams. The winner is determined by which Offense scores more ⭐Stars⭐from the Battle Phase.
War Phases
When a War begins, there will be two phases: the Preparation Phase, followed by the Battle Phase. During the Preparation Phase, all Clan Members will set up their Defensive teams. Once the Battle Phase begins, players battle the opposing clan’s Defense and will score ⭐Stars⭐for each Pokemon knocked out.
Preparation Phase
The Preparation Phase begins at Friday at 5pm EST and ends at Sunday at 4pm EST each week. Once your clan has met the requirements and been matched with an enemy clan, you will be tasked with creating and setting up a team to Defend your clan! Defenses are made according to the current format. The rules and format for what Pokémon can be used change each month but the rules at the time can be seen any time in /clan war rules defense.

You can access the menu to set your defense by using /clan war defense, which will open a menu to set your team.

Clicking the PokeWand will display your current party, including whether or not the team is valid for Clan Wars. If the team is valid, you can set it or change it at any time by clicking the Emerald Block.

Note: If your Defense team is not set by the end of the Preparation Phase, the opposing clan will receive a full 6 Stars against your Defense.

Battle Phase
The Battle Phase begins at Sunday at 4pm EST and ends at Thursday at 4pm EST each week. The Battle Phase involves each clan member battling one of the enemy clan’s set Defense teams. A clan member can only take on a single battle, meaning one ally clan member is battling for every enemy clan member.

Once this phase has begun, each clan member can choose who they would like to battle by using the /clan war menu, selecting the enemy clan, and then clicking the player that they would like to battle. The Pokémon and format that you can attack with are rotated monthly and will be the same as defense; viewable in /clan war rules offense at any time.

Note: Each player will select only one team to battle, after which no other clan member may select the same team to battle against.

Clan War Rewards
Once the war is complete and a victor is decided, the winning clan will receive items and perks for the entire week:
  • Clan Leader: 277 -300 Clan Points
  • All Members: Boosted Battle Tower Payouts, Boosted Job Payouts
Clan Gyms
Clan Gyms are another way that clans of any size can get involved in one-on-one competitive battling for rewards and other perks! Each week, 8 Clan Gyms of random typings will be opened, allowing clans to battle for control of each Gym.

Clan Gym Phases
Hovering over each Gym icon will display the current player controlling the Gym, participants that are in that gym, and the amount of time remaining which will indicate if it is still active. Left-clicking on the Gym icon will display the queue which will show any players contesting the gym.

1716575483993.png

Hovering over a player will show their current status. The current victorious player will be shown at the top of the menu with the defeated or in queue players in the main section. If the gym is open, you will be able to challenge it using the Emerald in the top right. This will validate your team, which can also be done any time using /clan gym validate, and add you to the queue. Once it is your turn to battle it will start automatically.

Note: Changing your team or the order of your team will automatically remove you from the queue.

Once Clan Gyms unlock, the first player to claim each Gym is placed in the control position. This starts a 30 minute timer, in which enemy clan members can contest control over the gym. When a Gym is contested and a battle is in progress, this timer will be paused to allow fair gameplay. If the controlling player is victorious, then 5 minutes is reduced from this timer. If the controlling player is defeated, control will be given over and the timer is reset to a maximum of 15 minutes.

Only one clan member from each clan may contest a Gym. For example, if one player challenges all 8 Gyms, then no other players in that clan will be able to challenge a Gym. This keeps controlling gyms fair and prevents leaking.

At the end of this timer, the current controlling player will win the Gym for their clan for the rest of the week and the player that was victorious at the end will receive rewards!

Clan Gym Rewards
Once the controlling player is victorious and the gym is claimed, they will receive personal rewards and the clan will receive perks related to that gym’s typing for the whole week until Clan Gyms reset!

Rewards can be seen using /clan gyms, clicking on one of the gym icons, and then clicking the coin box at the bottom.
  • Victorious Player: 75-100 Clan Points, 2x Random Clan Gym Loot Pool Rewards
  • Clan Perks: Increased Hidden Ability spawn rate for the corresponding type of the captured Gym
  • Clan Gym Loot Pool: 5x Gems, 1x Seasonal Key, 1x Shiny Legendary Key, 1x Shiny Legendary Plushy Spin, 1x Legendary Plushy Spin, 1x Legendary Spin, 1x Battle Perfect Spin, 32x Dungeon Fragments, 1x Unique Tag of that Gym Typing.
Clan Levels, Milestones, & Upgrades

Clan Levels, upgrades, and milestones all tie together and are an essential method of utilizing clans and gaining very beneficial perks for you and your fellow Clan Members. This can be used to benefit a lot of server-wide activities outside of clans and the main way you can collaborate with your Clan Members.

Milestones
Milestones, in /clan and clicking the Book, are contract-like tasks within the game (such as catching, collecting, and completing events) for all clan members to complete over time each with their category, progression, and level. Hovering over a milestone icon will show your clan's current level and what is required to level up. Left-clicking a milestone will show the requirements for all levels of this milestone in detail.

All members can participate and do not need to be in a lineup meaning all members can be involved in progressing these tasks. Completing these tasks is required for leveling up your clan which in turn unlock upgrades for your clan.

The milestones will slowly increase in requirement as the levels progress, and the tasks will become progressively more difficult. Objectives for milestones include the following categories:

Pixelmon Catching: Catching different typings of Pokemon as well as special traits such as Legendary, Shiny, Hidden Ability, Seasonal etc.
Pixelmon Battling: Defeating PvE battles including Battle Tower (/bt), World Bosses (/boss battle), wild pokemon, fished pokemon, NPCs etc.
Pixelmon Breeding: Breeding Pokemon and Pokemon with special traits such as Hidden Ability, high IVs, Battle Perfect.
Economy: Gaining money from /jobs on top of spending money in /pokebuilder and /shop.
Collecting: Redeeming spins and opening crates on the server of increasing rarities per level.
Contracts: Completing contracts of varying difficulty using /contracts on the server as well as /bingo lines.
Hunts: Completing hunts of varying difficulty using /hunt on the server including flash hunts.
Events: Completing repeatable events on the server such as races, dungeons, walking and defeating pokemon in dungeons.
World: Exploring the world by taking steps, flying, swimming, and claiming pokeloots/pokestops and beating raid dens.
Competitive: Placing high in Leaderboards in /lb, winning chat games, and placing high in world boss damage.
Base: Placing, breaking blocks and harvesting apricorns/berries. Includes smelting and crafting pokeballs at clan base.

Levels
Levels, accessed through the Exp Bottle in /clans, increase the clan's potential for unlocking upgrades for the clan. Hovering over this icon in the /clans menu shows the current clan level and right-clicking it will show a Clan Level Leaderboard so you can see where your clan is compared to others. Left-clicking will show the main clan levels menu. Clan Keys are unlocked through leveling up, with clan levels being the only method to obtain them. They can be redeemed at /warp clanshub.

Levels in this menu are listed from 1-50, with 50 being the maximum level. Hovering over a level will show which milestone and which level of that milestone is required to unlock it. It will also show which rewards in showing which upgrades can now be unlocked once your clan has reached that level including if that level has an additional Clan Key reward; only one key is given to the Clan Member that unlocks the level (Only the Clan Owner has permission to do this by default) though can be changed in Clan Permissions for other roles.

Once all milestones are complete for that level, you can left-click it to spend the required coins to level up the clan. Once a level is unlocked it will be highlighted and glow in this menu so you can track which level the clan is and quickly see the next level's requirements. Levels cost a certain amount of coins to unlock, which will increase with each level subsequently. You can preview all levels at any time including their costs in this menu.

Upgrades
Clan Upgrades, accessed through the Anvil in /clans, is the primary method of gaining useful perks benefiting your entire clan which can help boost your overall gameplay server-wide even outside clans! Each upgrade will start at Tier 1 and has multiple tiers with increasing perks such as multipliers, discounts, and increased slots for server features.

1716587756454.png

In this menu, you can view your clan level at the top (as a numbered Iron Ingot), as well as view all upgrades available. Hovering over an upgrade will show you what level is required, how many coins the upgrade costs, how much the multiplier is, and how many tiers the upgrade has. Left-clicking an upgrade with the required level and balance will take you to a confirmation screen before confirming.

Clan Leaderboard
Clans compete in a monthly leaderboard to see which clan can score the highest number of Clan Points. This leaderboard can be accessed with the /clans top command. Points may be achieved through three primary sources: Clan Gyms, Clan Wars, and Clan Point Crystals.

1716580940920.png

The main interface shows the current standings of all clans that have points for the month. Hovering over each head will display information about the clan: the clan name, current points, and what rewards will be received for that placement.

You can also see the time remaining as well as your clan's information and standings in the clan leaderboard from this menu.

The Clans Leaderboards Rewards are given to the Clan Leader, to be distributed amongst the clan.

Clans Leaderboards rewards are as follows:
  • 1st Place: 1x Custom Tag (Permanent), 300x Gems
  • 2nd Place: 200x Gems
  • 3rd Place: 100x Gems
Commands
Note: All commands that use /clans may instead use /clan as an alias (i.e. /clan, /cn, and /clans do the same thing).

  • /clans: Opens the Clans Menu. If not in a clan, the clan creation/invite menu will open instead.
  • /clans chat: Toggles on and off clan chat if used alone; if followed by a message, sends the message to Clan Chat without toggling it on for all messages.
  • /clans base: Teleports you to your clan’s base if one is set.
  • /clans gyms: Opens the Clan Gyms menu.
  • /clans war: Opens the Clan War menu
  • /clans top: Opens the Clans Leaderboards menu.
  • /clan war rules offense/defense: Shows current rules for clan gyms and clan wars offense and defenses
  • /clan gym rules: Shows current rules and allowed pokemon for clan gyms
