Every time I try to use the modpack it says out of memory, the minecraft launcher is on 2GB of Ram, but the technic launcher only gives an option for 1GB of ram or less in the Java settings, anyone know how to fix this?

If I am not mistaken you have to install 64bit version for Java to use more than 1gb. As for how to do the rest they have a tutorial to help with allocating more ram here.

Hi Kyle, thanks for making a post.
I'm sorry that you're having memory issues but hopefully this can solve it for you. Click this link and download/install this version of the 64-bit Java. This will enable you to allocate more than 1 GB of memory to your launcher.
To allocate more memory, after installing the 64-bit of Java, please follow this guide and it'll show you how to add memory accordingly.
If you have any further issues, please reply to this thread and we'll see what else we can do!
(note: this solution works for the Windows operating system, if you're on Mac, let me know)
