I login to go into pearl and when i get it, its fine for a couple of seconds then it kicks me off either saying "timed out" "disconnected" or something about the host closing it, I do not get this on any other server. Is there a way to fix it?

From what i've heard from people in the chat is that some mega evolutions are banned and some are not, samething with items and normal pokemon. Im wanting to get into competitive play and I dont wanna join the discord. So if anyone would give me a list i would greatly appreciate that.
