I agree that they should add it somehow because it is unobtainable. If quests do not work, they can add it somehow, but I do not think they should make it p2w.
Well, if only people who donate X amount of money can use dynamax bands in tourneys, then doesnt that make donating money give you a higer chance of winning? Like, if the only way to get dynamax bands thorugh donating, they should atleast be banned during tourneys.
im not 100% sure about this, but if you want your pokemon to do a move/activity outside of battle, like "forage" or summon ultra space with a legendary, you have to select it first, maybe you forgot to select it?
Maybe you joined the wrong server? like maybe you played on Pearl before and join Red or something like that? Cuz ranks are only for a single server im pretty sure.
I think your first idea is a great idea. However, the idea that legendaries spawn only in certain areas does not seem very optimal. I think that would create more problems than it would solve. About the idea that legendaries are individual based... I think you idea is in the right direction, but...
You could also try jut standing within the range of the ranch block for like a minute. I used to have problems where the egg wouldn't load as soon as I got in range of the ranch block, so I had to wait a bit for each ranch block to load before there was an egg, ~20-30secs.
