Cobblemon Exclusive ​

• Casual Random Battles (NEW): a new casual battle mode where you are given a random team and matched against another player, with no ranked rating on the line. Use /casual (or /randbats) to open it, /casual queue to join, and /casual team to see your team. You can also join from the /ranked menu. Each player gets a 150-second time bank, plus 10 seconds for every choice, and Terastallization is allowed. Winners get an Event Key, and losers have a 25% chance to get one too. Matches and replays are public.
• Player Gyms (NEW): Player Gyms are now open to everyone! Battle Gyms run by real Gym Leaders for a new set of badges and better rewards. Open /gyms and pick Player Gyms to see which gyms are open and how many players are in each queue, and filter by badges gained, badges not gained, or leaders on duty. Every Player Gym battle earns you Gym Points (5 for a win, 1 for a loss) to spend in the Gym Shop, and wins can give rewards like Plushy Spins. If you battle one gym far more than the others, its rewards are halved until you battle other gyms. Want to lead a gym? Apply with /gymapply.
• Gym Rematches: after you beat a gym, you can keep rematching it at harder tiers: 1st Rematch (Restricted Counters), 2nd Rematch (Leader Uber Unlocked) after 2 wins, Elite Rematch (Gym Rule Active) after 3 wins, and Master Rematch (Best of 3) after 5 wins. Your rematch tier now shows while you wait in the Player Gyms queue.
• Gym Leader Rewards: Gym Leaders earn 10 Gym Points for every win and 5 for every loss, and can turn them into Gems. To keep Gems valuable for everyone, it now takes 25 Gym Points per Gem (was 20), up to 20 Gems a week (was 25). Leaders can earn up to 3x points by completing Leader Challenges.
• Gym Bans: Melmetal is now banned in Gyms. Last Respects and Baton Pass are no longer banned in Clan Gyms.
• Clan Gym Registration: you can now change your held items after registering, as well as your order and moves. If your registered team changes in any other way before brackets start, your registration is removed instead of disqualifying you, and you can register again while registration is open. Disqualification messages now tell you why.
• Gym Cooldowns: the wait between gym challenges went up from 5 minutes to 8 hours, and the wait before you can join a gym queue again went up from 30 minutes to 8 hours.
• Gym Queue: you are no longer removed from a gym queue the moment no Gym Leaders are online. You now stay in the queue unless no leaders have been on duty for a while or you leave the network. If a gym battle fails to start, you go back to the front of the queue instead of losing your spot.
• Gym History: use /gym history vs <player> to see your recent gym matches against a specific player.
• Paradox Evolutions: Volcarona now evolves into Slither Wing only during the day and into Iron Moth only at night, and the evolution now uses a Paradox Core instead of Reinforced Deepslate.
• Ranked PvP: the ready check before a ranked match now lasts 10 seconds (was 50 seconds), and the match starts on its own when the time runs out. Ranked battles now use a time bank instead of a per-turn timer with strikes: you get warnings as it runs low, and if your bank runs out you forfeit the match.

Pixelmon Exclusive ​

• Clan Gym Rework (NEW): Clan Gyms on Pixelmon are now bracket tournaments, just like Cobblemon, replacing the old control timer. Registration opens for 30 minutes at the start of each gym period, each clan can send one representative per gym, and each player can enter one gym per period. Win the bracket to claim the gym for your clan. Use /clan gym bracket to follow a gym's live bracket and /clan gym history to browse past champions.
• Market Insight (NEW): Pixelmon now has a player price guide, like Cobblemon. Use /market to browse what is selling across /ah, /gts, and shops, or hold an item and use /price (or /worth) to see its average price, trend, and sales history. You can also share a price tag in chat. Prices are estimates from real recent sales; staff will not enforce them.
• Clan Gym Format: Pixelmon Clan Gyms now use Gen 9 OU (was Gen 9 National Dex OU), so only Pokémon from the Gen 9 games can be used. Check /clan gyms bans for the full list.
• Grand Jackpot: the prizes are now 50, 25, and 10 Gems (were $50, $25, and $10 store gift cards), matching Cobblemon.
• Live Tournament Brackets (NEW): Pixelmon tournaments now have a live bracket on tournaments.mc-complex.com (was Challonge). The signup reminder, the Discord tournament posts, and the results all link to it.
• Deceased Boots (Cyanide Steps): now also give you Speed IV while equipped.

Teams imported from PokePaste for Gyms and the Battle Cafe now keep their natures and Hidden Power types. The Skindex Anniversary Party PC Background reward now unlocks correctly. Fixed ranked matches teleporting players to the wrong spot in the arena. Tornadus and its Therian Forme now have their correct typing, abilities, and base stats. New /news command (also /changelog) that opens the latest patch notes on our website. The /tournament vote menu no longer gets blocked by a stuck tournament. GTS listings with long descriptions, like Tropical eggs, post to our Discord GTS feed again. The custom tag designer now lets you add or remove the space between an accent and your tag text. Tournament battles now use a time bank instead of a per-turn time limit. If your bank runs out, you forfeit the match. New /communityinvolvement menu shows how to apply to join the team, with the Discord Helper and Staff applications (plus Gym Leader on Cobblemon). /discordapply links straight to the Discord Helper application.

Fixed more cases of battles getting stuck on "Waiting", including after a Pokémon faints. Fixed tournament brackets stalling when a spectator left a match. Tournament battles can no longer be spectated, which stops matches freezing on "Waiting". The Fire Caster's Fire Pool now finds the Fire-type Pokémon that spawn in your biome. Archaludon no longer shows up on PokéBingo boards. Shiny Gallade plushies now show their shiny colors instead of looking like a regular Gallade. New /news command (also /changelog) that opens the latest patch notes on our website. The /tournament vote menu no longer gets blocked by a stuck tournament.
