Both Complex
Cobblemon and
Pixelmon have a player-driven economy. This means that players determine the value of the various items and Pokemon on the server.
The server has three main ways to buy and sell items: the PokeMart (
/shop), the Auction House (
/ah), and the Global Trade Station (
/gts).
- The PokeMart (/shop) is the only shop with fixed buy and sell prices, as it is managed by the server. Here, you will find most standard Minecraft and Pixelmon or Cobblemon items, depending on which server you are playing on. Left-click to buy items and right-click to sell them.
- The Auction House (/ah) is a player-run marketplace where you can bid on items listed by other players or create auctions of your own through the /ah interface.
- The Global Trade Station (/gts) is the primary marketplace for buying and selling Pokemon and valuable items. Listings can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 days, depending on the duration selected by the seller.
Since the server's economy is player-driven, figuring out how much an item or Pokemon is worth can be challenging at first.
By joining the
Discord server and visiting
#role-claiming, you can assign yourself your server's role, which unlocks the GTS channels. From there, use
Discord's search feature (Ctrl + F) to look up the item or Pokemon you are interested in and see what it has sold for in the past. This can give you a good idea of the prices the community is willing to pay.
You may also come across players looking to temporarily borrow or lend valuable items or Pokemon in exchange for money. While these arrangements are allowed, they are made entirely at the players' own risk. We strongly recommend only borrowing from or lending to players you know and trust.
