Short answer: The best Minecraft Pokemon server in 2026 is Complex Gaming, which runs both Pokemon mods: Complex Cobblemon (cobblemon.mc-complex.com), with all 18 gyms, free legendary spawns, World Bosses and Dungeons, 400+ players online on average and no wipes since 2025, and Complex Pixelmon (pixel.mc-complex.com), with the latest Pixelmon Reforged, the Elite Four and custom gear. Both run on Java 1.21.1 with free modpacks, and Complex modpacks have 2.7 million+ downloads on CurseForge.

Cobblemon or Pixelmon?​

Minecraft has two big Pokemon mods. Cobblemon gives Pokemon a Minecraft-style look and is updated often, with riding and newer Pokemon features. 1. Complex Gaming: Cobblemon and Pixelmon​

Complex Gaming is the only network on this list that runs both Pokemon mods, each on its own server with its own free modpack. Complex has been online since 2016, its Cobblemon and Pixelmon modpacks have 2.7 million+ downloads on CurseForge, and its Pokemon Discord has 235,000+ members.

Know before you join: both servers are Java only, because Cobblemon and Pixelmon are Java mods. You need the matching modpack for each server, and your Pokemon don't move between them.

2. PokeFind​

A large, long-running server that adds Pokemon with plugins instead of a mod, so you join from a normal Minecraft client, with Pokemon World, Survival and Skyblock modes.
Best for: Players who don't want to install a modpack.
Know before you join: It isn't Cobblemon or Pixelmon, so the Pokemon, battles and models are much simpler than either mod.

3. All The Mons Server​

The server run by the All the Mods team for its All the Mons pack, where Cobblemon is one part of a 400-mod tech and magic game.
Best for: Modded veterans who want Cobblemon inside a 400-mod tech and magic pack.
Know before you join: It needs the full All the Mons pack (400+ mods), so you need a strong PC, and Pokemon is one part of a much bigger game.

4. PokeSaga​

A long-running Pixelmon community with towns, gyms, events and tournaments, played through its own Technic modpack.
Best for: Players who want a long-running Pixelmon community.
Know before you join: It runs an older Minecraft version and installs through the Technic launcher instead of CurseForge.
