Short answer: The best Pixelmon server in 2026 is Complex Pixelmon (pixel.mc-complex.com). Complex Pixelmon runs the latest Pixelmon Reforged on Minecraft 1.21.1, with 850+ Pokemon plus custom Pokemon you won't find anywhere else. It's on Complex Gaming, a network online since 2016, its modpack has 940K+ downloads on CurseForge, and it peaked at 380+ players online at once in December 2025.

Best for: Players who want a long-running Pixelmon community.
Know before you join: It runs an older Minecraft version and installs through the Technic launcher instead of CurseForge.
