Gems are available on both Pixelmon and Cobblemon. They are considered a premium currency, making them much rarer and more valuable than Coins. Gems can be converted into Gift Cards and spent on the Donor Store, or used to purchase items and Pokemon through the Global Trade Station (/gts) and Auction House (/ah).

Gems are used in a variety of ways on Pixelmon and Cobblemon, some of which include:

• Trading: High value trades such as Custom Gear (Pixelmon), Legend Spins, Legendaries, etc.
• Giftcards: Exchanging between Giftcards and Gems as a currency
• Auctions: Spending gems in order to obtain high-value items that are available through /ah

Gems are a more difficult currency to obtain, making them highly sought after by players. While Gems can be purchased through the Complex Store, there are also several in-game methods for earning them:

• Giveaways - Join the Discord server and participate in Giveaways for a chance at winning Gems or other rewards.
• Grand Jackpot – Try your luck in the server's Grand Jackpot! Purchase tickets for a chance to win Gems. (/gjp)
• Leaderboards - Compete against other players in various categories to climb the weekly leaderboards and earn Gems. (/leaderboard)
• Ranked (Cobblemon Exclusive) – Compete in live Pokemon battles against other players! Climb the ladder and earn rewards when the season ends. (/ranked)
• Research (Cobblemon Exclusive) – Complete the weekly Research objective and compete for a spot among the top players. The top three players are rewarded with Gems. (/research)
• Tournaments – Participate in daily automated tournaments for Gems, or build your team and compete in the larger monthly Server-Wide Tournament. (/tournament)
• Trading – Make deals with other players by offering items, Pokemon, or other valuables in exchange for Gems. You can also use the Global Trade Station (/gts) and Auction House (/ah).

Purchasing Gems and exchanging them for Giftcards is one of the main ways to maneuver between our Donor Store and in-game currency!

Exchanging Gems for Giftcards can be done through the in-game command /gemstogc. This command allows you to withdraw your Gems for a Giftcard code, which can then be used on our Donor Store for various purchases.
