Skyblock Spawners Guide: Unlock Levels, Prices, Limits and Stacking (2026)

Short answer: On Complex Skyblock (hub.mc-complex.com), there are 17 spawner types, from Pig to Endermite. Pig and Sheep spawners work right away, and the rest unlock as your island levels up, with Endermite last at island level 50. Buy spawners in /shop, or get them free from Slayer milestones, quests, clue scrolls and Tomb Expeditions. Stack up to 50 of the same spawner in one block, and raise your island's spawner limit from 50 to 250 with /is upgrades.

Every Skyblock spawner​

Each spawner type unlocks at an island level. Until your island reaches that level, you can't place that spawner, and if one is already placed it won't spawn mobs. Prices are the /shop buy prices and can change.

How to get spawners​

• /shop: the Spawners and Mob Drops page sells every spawner type once your island has unlocked it.
• Slayer milestones: Slayer milestones give free spawners, from Cow and Pig spawners at Slayer 1 up to Villager and Silverfish spawners at Slayer 13 and 14. See the Skyblock Island Milestones Guide.
• Quests: /warp quests has quests that reward spawners.
• Clue scrolls: spawners are one of the clue scroll rewards.
• Pharaoh's Tomb: Tomb Expeditions give spawners as one-time rewards.
• Other players: buy them on the auction house (/ah) or from player shops (/pwarps).

How to stack spawners​

1. Place one spawner on your island.
2. Hold another spawner of the same type.
3. Sneak (hold Shift) and right-click the placed spawner. It adds one spawner to the stack. You need the Break Spawners island permission to stack.

One block can hold up to 50 spawners of the same type. Right-click a spawner without sneaking to see how many are in the stack. Every spawner in a stack counts toward your island's spawner limit.

How to pick up spawners​

Break the spawner with any pickaxe. You don't need Silk Touch, and you get the whole stack back. You need the Break Spawners island permission, which Moderators and above have by default. The island owner and admins can change this in /is permissions.

How to set up a spawner farm​

• Mobs stack: mobs of the same type within 32 blocks merge into one stack of up to 250, with the amount shown above it. Each kill takes one mob off the stack.
• Keep it loaded: spawners only work when a player is nearby, so build your farm where you or an AFK alt can stay close.
• Stack your spawners: stack the same type in one block instead of spreading them out.
• Collect the drops: use hoppers into chests, and watch your hopper limit with /is hoppers.

Best spawners for money​

There's no single best spawner, because Complex Skyblock has a dynamic economy: mob drops that lots of players sell drop in price, and drops that few players sell go up. Before you buy a big stack, check what that mob's drops sell for in /shop, and switch types when a drop gets crowded.
