Cobblemon World Bosses: Raid Times, Tiers and Rewards (2026)

Short answer: A Cobblemon world boss is a server-wide raid boss that every player fights together. On Complex Cobblemon (cobblemon.mc-complex.com), a new World Boss spawns 45 to 60 minutes after the last one ends (about every hour) and stays for up to 15 minutes. Type /boss battle to fight your own copy of the boss, and every win adds damage to one shared health bar. When the boss falls, everyone who dealt damage gets rewards based on their damage rank, including Key Stones for Mega Evolution from Rare tier bosses and up.

What are Cobblemon World Bosses?​

Cobblemon world bosses are raid battles for the whole server. The base Cobblemon mod doesn't include them, so each server adds its own. Looking for a world boss Cobblemon server? On Complex Cobblemon, chat announces every World Boss when it spawns.

• One shared health bar: a red boss bar shows the boss's HP and time left.
• Your own battle: no need to find the boss. Run /boss battle and you fight your own copy of it in a singles battle, right where you are.
• Teamwork: every player's wins take HP off the same boss.
• Strong Pokemon: around 90 possible bosses, from Garchomp, Tyranitar and Kingambit to legendaries like Rayquaza, Mewtwo and Arceus, with competitive held items and movesets.

When World Bosses spawn​

A new World Boss spawns 45 to 60 minutes after the last one ends (defeated or fled), so about one every hour.

• Announcement: chat shows "World Boss Summoned" with the tier, and the boss bar appears for everyone.
• Time limit: 15 minutes. If it isn't defeated in time, it flees and nobody gets rewards.
• Check the timing: when no boss is up, /boss shows how long ago the last one ended.

How to battle a World Boss​

1. Wait for "World Boss Summoned" in chat.
2. Type /boss battle (or the shortcut /bb). You can also click the button in the /boss message.
3. Your whole party is fully healed and a singles battle starts against your copy of the boss.
4. Knock the boss out to add damage to the shared health bar.
5. Run /bb again right away. There is no cooldown between battles.

Team rules: any team, no level cap. The only banned move is Endeavor, so a Pokemon that knows it blocks the battle. You can't start a boss battle while you're in another battle.

How World Boss damage works​

Understand this and you'll place higher.

• Only wins count: when you knock out your copy of the boss, its full HP is added to your damage total and taken off the shared health bar.
• Losing gives nothing: if your team faints, you run or you log out, that attempt adds no damage. Your party heals when you start again.
• Boss level follows your team: your copy is the level of your highest-level party Pokemon plus a tier bonus (see below). It can go above 100.
• Bigger boss, bigger damage: a higher-level boss has more HP, so each win is worth more, but it's harder to beat.
• Wins add up: your damage is the total of all your wins in that raid.

World Boss tiers​

Each World Boss rolls one of five tiers. Higher tiers are rarer, tougher and give better loot.
"Active player" means anyone online on Complex Cobblemon who isn't AFK when the boss spawns.

World Boss rewards and damage brackets​

When the boss is defeated, chat shows your placement and damage. Rewards depend on your damage rank:
Small raids: with fewer than 30 damage dealers, brackets widen as if 30 played: places 1 to 3 get top 10% rewards, 4 to 9 top 30% and 10 to 18 top 60%.
Each reward is picked at random from your bracket's pool (repeats are possible). Higher tiers have much better pools:
Top 10% pools can also give rare chat tag vouchers. Browse every pool with /boss loot.

Extra progress: World Boss rewards also give Combat legend energy (150 for Uncommon up to 750 for Disastrous, see How to Get Legendaries). The Trainer job pays for each boss you knock out, and Contracts and clan missions have World Boss damage tasks.

Key Stones from World Bosses​

World Bosses are the main way to earn a Key Stone, which you need to Mega Evolve.

• Which bosses: Key Stones can drop from Rare, Legendary, Ultimate and Disastrous bosses. Uncommon bosses don't drop them.
• Better tier, better chance: Ultimate and Disastrous bosses can give one in every bracket. Rare and Legendary bosses only in the top 30% and top 10%.
• More damage, better chance: higher brackets get more rewards from better pools.
• How you get it: it comes as a voucher you redeem.
