Im here today to address something I see as an issue, name bans. Within the past 24 hours, me and my friend were both banned in regards to our usernames. Mine was "CoochieInvader" and his was "0rgasim". Both of us had been playing for about a week, and just started playing minecraft again. This server is legit the only server we play on. An hour before my ban, I donated for a rank. Upon receiving the ban, I complied and changed my name, as I had just got a rank and didn't want to stay banned. My friend however, has had his account name since 2016. We have played countless hours and servers together, and never been perma banned for our names or such. On complex, we have both behaved well and been friendly in the skyblock 2 community. We put time in, and are/were enjoying ourselves. Now, because of IGNs we have had for a while now, he cant play with me anymore. I dont understand why there isnt a plugin or something to fix this issue. In pixelmon, his name was /nick to 0rganisms, but skyblock 2 he just got out right permabanned. I know names show in tab and thats the problem, but I feel like there must be SOME way to combat this issue without outright banning players for IGNs. If the server was really trying to be friendly and accepting for everyone, it would let people with slightly more mature names play. My goal of this isnt to angerly point fingers or anything, I just want to request/beg that something be put in place to allow more mature IGNs to still play maybe /nicked or some other varient. I would like to be able to play with my friend again
