1. Download the CurseForge app for your operating system: https://www.curseforge.com/download/app
2. Open the Complex Cobblemon modpack page and click Install Via App. Your browser may ask for permission to open CurseForge.
3. Once the download finishes, click Play in CurseForge. The first launch can take a while, so give it time.
4. Open Multiplayer and join cobblemon.mc-complex.com.

Missing textures or items look like normal Minecraft items
Type /resourcepack in game to download our textures and custom items.

The first launch is taking forever
That's normal. The first launch loads every mod in the pack for the first time. Let it finish, and later launches will be much faster. You don't need to change any settings.

I can't connect to the server

• Make sure you launched the game through the Complex Cobblemon modpack, not the regular Minecraft launcher.
• Double-check the IP: cobblemon.mc-complex.com
• Make sure your modpack is on the latest version. Updates are released in CurseForge and Modrinth, so update the pack and try again.
• You need a valid Minecraft Java Edition account. Complex Cobblemon is not cracked and does not support Bedrock.

My game crashes or runs out of memory
Modpacks need more memory than regular Minecraft. In CurseForge, go to Settings, Minecraft, Java Settings and raise the Allocated Memory. In Modrinth, open the Complex Cobblemon instance settings and raise the memory under Java and memory. 6 to 8 GB works well for most players, but don't allocate more than about half of your computer's total RAM.

Pokemon names are cluttering my map
Press J to open JourneyMap, click Options in the bottom left, open MiniMap Preset 1, and untick Show Entity Names.

How do I add shaders?
Download the Fabric version of Iris for Minecraft 1.21.1 from CurseForge and add it to the Mods folder of your Complex Cobblemon instance. Then drag your shader pack into the Iris option in your video settings.

Pressing M opens my map instead of the starter menu
Check your keybinds in Options, Controls, and make sure the Cobblemon starter menu and JourneyMap aren't both set to M. You can also right-click the starter NPC at spawn instead.
