Short answer: Complex Gaming (mc-complex.com) is a Minecraft server network founded in 2016 by FrankCG, and its server IP is hub.mc-complex.com for Skyblock, Prison, Factions, Survival and Hunger Games on Java and Bedrock with full crossplay (Bedrock port 19132). One of the largest and longest-running Minecraft networks, Complex also runs a Cobblemon server at cobblemon.mc-complex.com and a Pixelmon server at pixel.mc-complex.com. Complex has 2,000+ players online at once every day, an all-time peak of about 2,800 and more than 320,000 Discord members, and all of its content is custom-built by its own full-time development team led by head developer chckn. What is Complex Gaming?​

Complex Gaming is a Minecraft server network that has been online since 2016. What started as one Tekkit Classic server has grown into one of the biggest communities in Minecraft, with thousands of players logging in every day to build islands, grind prestiges, raid rival factions and catch Pokemon. Today the network has two sides:

• The Vanilla network: Skyblock, Prison, Factions and Survival, all on one IP for Java and Bedrock players, with full crossplay. You pick a server from the hub with the compass or the NPCs, and you can queue the Hunger Games minigame with /minigames from any server.
• The modded side: a Cobblemon server and a Pixelmon server on Minecraft Java 1.21.1, each played with Complex's own modpack.

What makes Complex different​

Plenty of Minecraft servers launch big and disappear a few months later. How to join Complex Gaming​

On Java (Skyblock, Prison, Factions, Survival):

1. Open Minecraft Java Edition (any version from 1.8 to the latest, latest recommended).
2. Click Multiplayer, then Add Server, and enter hub.mc-complex.com.
3. Join, then pick a server with the compass or the NPCs.

On Bedrock (PC and mobile):

1. Update Minecraft Bedrock Edition to the latest version.
2. Open the Servers tab, click Add Server, and enter hub.mc-complex.com with port 19132.

The Complex Gaming story​

Complex was founded in 2016 by FrankCG with a single Tekkit Classic server. As the community grew, so did the network: first into more modpacks like Tekkit Legends, then into Pixelmon, which became one of the biggest parts of Complex with three servers of its own. Around 2020 Complex opened its Vanilla network, bringing Skyblock, Prison, Factions and Survival to both Java and Bedrock players. In 2025 it launched Complex Cobblemon, which quickly grew into one of the largest Cobblemon servers anywhere. Ten years in, the same founder is still running it, alongside a full-time team.

• 2016: FrankCG founds Complex Gaming with a Tekkit Classic server.
• The modded years: Complex expands into Tekkit Legends and then Pixelmon. The Pixelmon side grows to three Pixelmon Reforged 1.16 servers, Diamond, Red and Violet, later merged into one Pixelmon server on Minecraft 1.21.
• Around 2020: the Vanilla network launches with Skyblock, Prison, Factions and Survival, and full Java and Bedrock crossplay.
• 2025: Complex Cobblemon launches, reaches 1,000+ players online at peak and becomes the #1 featured server in the official COBBLEVERSE modpack.
• Early 2026: the network hits its all-time peak of about 2,800 players online at once.
• Today: six servers across Java and Bedrock, 2,000+ players online every day, and new content and seasons every month.
