Prison Gang Events and Flash Mines Guide (2026)

Short answer: Complex Prison (hub.mc-complex.com) runs a gang event every 3 hours at :30: Value Hunt, The Heist, Hot Vein or Prospect Lottery. Join with /gangevent flag and mine for Gang Top points. Every hour on the hour there's a Flash Mine where the top miners win tokens and keys (or the top gangs win sell boosters), plus Envoys at spawn. See what's next with /events.

How gang events work​

• When: one random gang event every 3 hours, at 00:30, 03:30, 06:30, 09:30, 12:30, 15:30, 18:30 and 21:30 server time. The /events menu shows the next one in your own time zone.
• How to join: click FLAG IN in chat, type /gangevent flag, or use /events. Sign-ups stay open for 180 seconds. If you leave, /gangevent flag takes you back in.
• Who can join: players in a live gang member slot (not roster players waiting to rotate in). Arena events need at least 2 gangs, or they're cancelled.
• Rewards: your gang keeps the Gang Top points it banks during the event.
• In the arena: grab powerups like Haste and Speed (watch out for traps), and stand under the Overdrive Bird's rain for 60 seconds of Haste III, Speed III and Jump III.

Value Hunt​

Hidden value blocks look like normal stone. Mine to find them and bank their points.

• Length: 15 minutes, or until gangs bank 10,000 points between them.
• Block values: Common 25, Uncommon 50, Rare 100, Epic 175, Legendary 250.
• Combo: each find within 6 seconds of the last adds +0.1x, up to 1.5x.
• Twists: Rich Pocket (better odds for 45 seconds), Golden Rush (double points for 60 seconds), Starfall (3 buried Legendaries) and the Overdrive Bird.

The Heist​

• Length: 15 minutes.
• Phase 1, charge up: each gang mines 8,500 blocks to qualify for the vaults.
• Phase 2, crack the vaults: 10 obsidian vaults share up to 10,000 points. The gang that does the most damage to a vault wins all of its points, and vaults regrow after 20 seconds. Gangs that qualify late can still jump in.

Hot Vein​

• Length: 15 minutes, or until gangs bank 10,000 points.
• Veins: two veins are hot at a time, one in the main mine and one in the side mines. You get a 4 second warning before each one lights up.
• Values: a normal vein has 18 blocks worth 10 points and stays hot for 25 seconds. A Mega Vein (12% chance) has 48 blocks worth 30 points and stays hot for 50 seconds.
• Multiplier: every vein block your gang mines adds 0.05x, up to 3x. It drops if your gang stops mining.

Prospect Lottery​

• No sign-up: everyone in the public mines is in automatically.
• Length: 12 minutes, after a 180 second countdown.
• Tickets: every block you mine by hand has a 1 in 1,500 chance to give a ticket. Enchant procs don't count.
• Prizes: 3 Grand prizes of 1,800 points, 3 Major prizes of 1,000 and 4 Minor prizes of 400.

Flash Mines​

A Flash Mine opens every hour at :00 and lasts 5 to 10 minutes. Check it with /flashmines.

• Personal Flash Mines (70%): the most blocks mined wins. Prestiged and non-prestiged players each get their own top 3.
• Gang Flash Mines (30%): gangs compete on total blocks mined.
• Momentum Mayhem (30% of Flash Mines): ranks by your highest Momentum streak instead of blocks mined.

Personal rewards (tokens are boosted by your token boosts):
Gang rewards: the top 3 gangs get a +10%, +5% or +2.5% Gang Sell Booster for 1 hour, plus 250, 150 or 100 Gang Top points.

Mining Spree and Skull Spree​

• Mining Spree (/spree): mine for 15, 30 or 60 minutes in a day to unlock a 1.15x boost for 30 minutes, 1.2x for 45 minutes or 1.25x for 60 minutes. Pick a Sell or Token boost.
• Skull Spree (/skullspree): earn 150, 375 or 750 kill points on Skull Island for the same boosts, as a Drops or Token boost. Higher tiers give more points per kill, and killing different mob types gives more than farming the same one.

Envoys and chat games​

• Envoys: every hour on the hour, crates drop around spawn. Common, Rare and Epic crates give money ($500k to $7M), tokens, Gold Shards, runes, glyphs and Vote keys, and there's a 0.1% chance of a Legendary crate. See the loot with /envoy and the top collectors with /envoytop.
• Chat Reaction: every 5 minutes a quick chat game starts, and you have 20 seconds to answer. 1st wins $50,000, 300 tokens and 15 Mystery Dust, 2nd wins $30,000, 200 tokens and 10 dust, and 3rd wins $10,000, 100 tokens and 5 dust.
• Vote Party: at 250 votes, everyone online gets $50,000 and 2 Vote keys. Check it with /vp.
