Best Minecraft Dungeon Servers (2026): Java and Bedrock

Short answer: The best Minecraft dungeon server in 2026 is Complex Gaming (hub.mc-complex.com), which runs Dungeons on five of its servers: Skyblock, Prison and Survival on Java and Bedrock, plus Complex Cobblemon and Complex Pixelmon. The vanilla dungeons are randomly built runs with 3 tiers, 25 bosses and parties of up to 5, and the Cobblemon and Pixelmon dungeons grade every run from D to S. If you want a full RPG instead, Hypixel SkyBlock's Catacombs and Wynncraft are the other big picks.
Complex Gaming runs these servers, so this is our own list and our own server is #1. We picked the other servers ourselves as the best-known dungeon servers, and nobody paid to be on it. Details were checked in October 2026.

How we judged dungeon servers​

A good dungeon server keeps runs fresh and makes the loot worth the effort. Every server here was judged on:

1. Variety. Layouts, rooms and mobs that change, so runs don't feel the same.
2. Bosses. Real boss fights at the end of a run, not just harder mobs.
3. Co-op. Easy ways to party up with friends or find a group.
4. Rewards. Loot and currency that matter outside the dungeon too.
5. Progression. Harder tiers to work toward once you've cleared the easy ones.
6. Java and Bedrock. Whether your whole group can play.

1. Complex Gaming Dungeons​

IP: hub.mc-complex.com (Java 1.8 to latest, Bedrock on port 19132), then pick Skyblock, Prison or Survival and type /dungeon. For Pokemon dungeons, join cobblemon.mc-complex.com or pixel.mc-complex.com.
Complex Gaming is a Minecraft network online since 2016, #1 for monthly votes on minecraft-server-list.com in October 2026, and TechRadar's best Minecraft servers of 2026 ranks Complex second, behind Hypixel. Its Dungeons are built in-house and run on five servers, so you can do dungeon runs whether you play Skyblock, Prison, Survival, Cobblemon or Pixelmon.

• Randomly built runs: every dungeon is built from rooms of custom mobs, traps and puzzles. Once 60% of the rooms are built, a boss portal appears and takes your whole party to the boss.
• Three tiers: the Overworld Dungeon is free, and the Nether and End Dungeons need a 7-day Weekly Pass (100,000 or 200,000 coins). Harder tiers give more Dungeon XP and more perk picks.
• Easy co-op: party up with up to 5 players, use the Open Queue to team up with strangers, or post a listing in the Party Finder. Friends on different game modes can party up too.
• Loot that matters: earn Dungeon Coins, Dungeon XP and boss chest loot, then spend coins in the Dungeon Shop on boosts, cosmetics, crate keys and items for your game mode.
• Perks, upgrades and mastery: pick perks at the start of each run, buy permanent upgrades, and earn mastery rewards for beating bosses.
• Pokemon dungeons: on Complex Cobblemon and Complex Pixelmon, every run is graded from D to S, and a better grade gives more Dungeon Coins and up to 3 reward rolls. A Hard dungeon at S has an 8% Legendary chance on each roll.

Know before you join: dungeon progress is separate for Prison, Skyblock and Survival and resets each season, and Prison dungeons hit harder. Cobblemon and Pixelmon are Java only and need the free Complex modpack.

2. Hypixel SkyBlock (The Catacombs)​

The Catacombs is Hypixel SkyBlock's dungeon: an Entrance and 7 floors, each ending in a boss. Beating Necron on Floor VII unlocks 7 harder Master Mode floors.
Best for: Experienced SkyBlock players who want a long, hard dungeon grind.
Know before you join: you need to build up your SkyBlock gear first, and Floor VII needs Catacombs level 24. Java only.

3. Wynncraft​

Wynncraft is the best-known Minecraft MMORPG. It has 8 standard dungeons, each with a harder Corrupted version, plus special dungeons like the Fallen Factory and Eldritch Outlook.
Best for: RPG fans who want dungeons as part of a full quest-driven adventure.
Know before you join: standard dungeons are unlocked through quests, and each dungeon key lets up to 4 players in. Java only.

How to join Complex Dungeons​

1. Java: open Multiplayer, click Add Server and enter hub.mc-complex.com (1.8 to the latest release, latest recommended).
2. Bedrock (Windows, phone and tablet): open Servers, add a server with address hub.mc-complex.com and port 19132.
3. At the hub, pick Skyblock, Prison or Survival with the compass, then type /dungeon or click the DUNGEONS NPC.
