How seasons work, what you keep and how to save items for next season
Short answer: When Complex Skyblock (hub.mc-complex.com) resets for a new season, islands, money and progress are wiped, but you keep your GC, your ranks, your tags and the items saved in your Reset Vault. The Reset Vault (/rv or /warp resetvault) opens for saving two weeks before the season ends, and each slot saves one item. In the new season, you can take your items back out after 14 days, one item per day for the first 2 weeks and then all at once. How Skyblock seasons work
Every season starts on a fresh map, so everyone starts with the same economy and the race for Island Top starts over. New seasons bring features that can't be added mid-season.- Announcements: each reset is announced on our Discord (https://discord.gg/ComplexVanilla) together with the next season.
- Countdown: once the next season is announced, the hub shows a countdown to its launch.
- Season Finale: in the last Island Top week before a new season, Trade Winds stays at 100%, so every Sell Portal sale counts in full.
What carries over and what resets

How the Reset Vault works
The Reset Vault lets you save items to use after the map resets. It's per player, not per island, and separate from other game modes like Prison, which has its own: see Prison Resets and the Reset Vault. Type /rv, /resetvault or /warp resetvault to go to the vault at spawn, then right-click it to open it.- Saving: the vault opens for saving two weeks before the season ends. Click an open slot and pick an item to save. It leaves your inventory right away, and you can't take it back out until the next season.
- Waiting: at the start of the new season, the vault stays locked for 14 days.
- Taking items out: from day 14, you can take out one item per day.
- No limit: from day 28, you can take out everything that's left.

Saved items lose their enchantments and runes. Crate exclusive items get their enchantments and runes reset to their original levels. Backpacks keep their tier, but go back to level 1 and are emptied.Reset Vault slots
Each slot holds one item. Your number of slots depends on your rank, and Plus counts as one rank higher:| Rank | Slots | With Plus |

- Free slot: one of the slots above unlocks once you have more than 48 hours of Skyblock playtime and your account is at least 14 days old. Until then, you have one less.
- Reset Vault Vouchers: each voucher adds 1 slot. Get them from the Dungeon Shop (500,000 Dungeon Coins, Dungeon level 25), Ra crates, some seasonal crates and Pond Mastery. Hold the voucher and right-click to use it. Voucher slots are permanent, so they carry over to every season.
Items that cannot be saved
Only single items can be saved, not stacks. These can't be saved at all:- Shulker boxes and spawners
- Runes, rune tomes and Hidden Treasures
- Boosters, pouches, wands and flight vouchers
- Minions, minion implants, minion essences and Chef items
- Clue scrolls and Casks
- Bottles o' enchanting
- Tomb contraband, like Gold Shards and Angelic items
- Various other items
What opens after a reset

How to get ready for a reset
- Save your best single items: crate exclusive items are the best picks, because their enchantments and runes come back at their original levels.
- Use what you can't save: open your clue scrolls, Casks, pouches and boosters before the season ends. See our Clue Scrolls Guide.
- Spend your money: in-game money is wiped, but GC carries over.
- Get more slots: get Reset Vault Vouchers before the vault opens for saving.
- Push Island Top: Trade Winds stays at 100% in the Season Finale week.

What carries over when Skyblock resets?

How does the Reset Vault work?
Two weeks before the season ends, the Reset Vault (/warp resetvault) opens for saving. Each slot saves one item. In the new season, you can take items out from day 14, one per day until day 28, then all at once.
How many Reset Vault slots do I get?
2 with no rank and 24 with Pharaoh, or 27 with Pharaoh and Plus, because Plus counts as one rank higher. Reset Vault Vouchers add 1 slot each.
Can you save spawners in the Reset Vault?
No. Spawners, stacked items, shulker boxes, runes, minions, pouches, boosters and clue scrolls can't be saved.
Do enchantments stay on Reset Vault items?
No. Saved items lose their enchantments and runes. Crate exclusive items get their enchantments and runes reset to their original levels.
Are islands wiped at the reset?
Yes. Islands are wiped when the whole server resets for a new season, and only then.
Can you save a backpack in the Reset Vault?
Yes. On Complex Skyblock a backpack saved in the Reset Vault keeps its tier, but it goes back to level 1 and is emptied.
What opens 14 days after a Skyblock reset?
The Pharaoh's Tomb and Tomb Expeditions, Reset Vault item retrieval (one item per day), Time Traveler claims, Angelic items, Daily Warzone Angelic rewards, the full Dungeon Shop and Dungeon leaderboard reward claims all open on day 14 of a new Complex Skyblock season.
How do I get more Reset Vault slots?
Use Reset Vault Vouchers, which add 1 permanent slot each. On Complex Skyblock you get them from the Dungeon Shop (500,000 Dungeon Coins at Dungeon level 25), Ra crates, some seasonal crates and Pond Mastery, and a higher rank or Plus also gives more slots.
